FREE YWCA PROGRAMS

YWCA was awarded a grant that will subsidize program fees for Veterans and Military, their dependents, and surviving spouses.

YWCA Health and Wellness
No specialty programs (swim lessons, private training, etc.) are eligible for these special rates.
This grant will pay 100% of the service fee while funding is available.

1. Reside within El Paso County
2. TX Issued Driver License – Texas State-Issued Driver License with current address

3.Income must be at or below $50,560, (80% of the Median Family Income for El Paso County)
4. Most recent and consecutive paystubs or LES for the past 3 months for ALL income earning household members
– Monthly: 3 Paystubs
– Bi-Weekly or Bi-Monthly: 6 Paystubs
– Weekly: 12 Paystubs
5. Any other income for the household (e.g. Social Security, Retirement, Recent VA Benefits letter, Child support letter)

– Driver License with Veteran Designation

– VA Disability letter
– Honorable Discharge Certificate
– E-Benefits Summary Letter with Character of Service listed
– NGB-22, National Guard report of separation and Record of service

– Certificate verifying Active Duty-Status from Department of Defense Manpower Data Center.

Parents interested in enrolling in After School and Academy for Early Learning must contact site of interest for space availability.

Texas Veterans Commission subsidies are available for those who qualify and contingent upon funding availability from July 1, 2023-June 30, 2024
Funding is limited and offered on a first come, first served basis. This program is supported by a grant from the Texas Veterans Commission Fund for Veterans’ Assistance.
