YWCA El Paso del Norte Region has served the El Paso community since 1909 and The Annual Women’s Luncheon is our largest fundraiser. This event provides critical funding for all of YWCA’s programs, including the Sara McKnight Transitional Living Center for survivors of domestic violence, Courageous Conversations and social equity programming, Academies for Early Learning, After School Programs, workforce development, supportive housing, and so much more. BIO

Lucy Liu is a critically acclaimed actress, artist, director, producer, and advocate whose influence spans film, television, Broadway, and the visual arts. Beloved by audiences worldwide, Liu is best known for her iconic roles in Charlie’s Angels, Kill Bill, Ally McBeal, and Elementary. Most recently, she starred in Red One, Amazon’s record-breaking streaming debut, with Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans and Steven Soderbergh’s highly praised film, Presence as well as Old Guy, starring alongside two-time Academy Award winner, Christoph Waltz.

Beyond her artistic accomplishments, Liu is a devoted humanitarian and has worked as an Ambassador to UNICEF for twenty years. She has been honored with the Women’s World Award, Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award, Harvard Artist of the Year Award, and the 2024 Gold Legend Award. She has also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, cementing her legacy in the entertainment industry. With over three decades of experience, Liu remains a trailblazer, celebrated for her exceptional talent, versatility, and commitment to meaningful storytelling.
